Formerly known as The Founders Club, The Ambassadors Club is a giving society that embodies a new era of commitment and dedication to advancing our mission of fostering positive youth character development through golf. Renamed in 2023, The Ambassadors Club represents a network of passionate professionals who are actively engaged in promoting our programs and supporting our organization’s growth and impact. As Ambassadors, our members play a crucial role in promoting our programs and supporting our organization through their time, resources, and dedication.
Who Are Our Ambassadors?
Our Ambassadors are active professionals who share a common goal: to make a difference in the lives of Atlanta’s young people. They bring their expertise, influence, and generosity to bear in support of our mission, helping us to empower youth to develop character, leadership, and life skills through the game of golf.
What Do Ambassadors Do?
Ambassadors dedicate their time and financial resources to raise awareness of First Tee — Metro Atlanta in the community and support our organization through networking and fundraising events. By serving as ambassadors for our cause, they help us expand our reach, attract new supporters, and secure vital resources to sustain and grow our programs.
How Does the Ambassadors Club Make an Impact?
Funds generated through the Ambassadors Club directly support our mission-driven initiatives, including the Founders Scholarship and ongoing First Tee Programming. On Saturday, September 4th during TOUR Championship week 2021, the Founders Club Annual Meeting was held at Cultivate Food & Coffee. In addition to discussion of initiatives for the remainder of 2021 and plans for 2022, a panel moderated by First Tee — Metro Atlanta’s Director of Development, Rich Alvarez with guests from the golf industry discussed how social media has impacted golf’s popularity.
